Planet Automotive Facial Covering

Summary –

Planet Automotive is committed to the safety of our employees and customers. As government rulings related to COVID-19 change, we are adapting as quickly as possible. Pursuant to the newly announced Colorado Executive Order D 2021 103 – we are updating our company policies regarding face coverings.
Key points and practices to us as a business:

  • Any individual over age eleven who is not fully vaccinated is encouraged to wear a medical or non-medical cloth face covering.
  • Any fully vaccinated individual may go without any type of face-covering in any setting
  • As allowed under state law, owners of any business may, at their discretion, continue to require individuals entering or within their location to wear face coverings or show proof of vaccination

Planet Automotive will not ask for confirmation of vaccination from employees or customers. We will not make mandatory any vaccinations. We will adhere to the executive order and echo the sentiment that individuals who are not vaccinated are encouraged to wear facial coverings. We will provide these items at the entrance to our facilities.

Our customer-facing employees will have a facial covering available should a customer request that they wear it. Our training verbiage in this area is “if you would be more comfortable, I am happy to wear a mask.”

Details For Employees –

On May 13, 2021, the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) outlined new guidance mask guidance for vaccinated and unvaccinated individuals. In accordance with this new guidance, Colorado Governor Jared Polis signed Executive Order D2021-103, which aligned the State of Colorado with the CDC.  Jefferson County also went to the “All Clear” Phase:2 Observation Period, effective May 16, 2021. This means businesses are able to operate at no capacity limits or mitigation requirements, with the exception of indoor mask-wearing according to Executive Order D2021-103.

Planet Automotive will not be asking Employees, Vendors, or Customers about their COVID-19 immunization status. Disclosing this information is solely up to the individual.

Planet Automotive asks that employees follow the State Mandates and Orders and trust the employees will make the right choices to protect the public health and safety of others to protect the spread of infection to others.

Jefferson County and the State of Colorado say that anyone who has been fully vaccinated may go without a face covering in any setting.
